“We’re Home, Conejito.” Watercolor Poster Matte Art Print by Lalo Alcaraz

Drawn by award winning political cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz to commemorate the return of Liam Conejo Ramos and his dad back home after being unjustly kidnapped by ICE for the alleged crime of seeking asylum in the United States and also being a 5 year old child. These are soft, textured watercolor prints that feel like a quiet page from a storybook. These matte posters capture delicate grayscale illustration with a gentle pop of color, printed on heavy 285gsm watercolor paper for a tactile, wallpaper-like surface. The artworktwo little rabbits returning to a cozy tree hollowevokes warm domestic hushes, bedtime routines, and the tender pull of home. Hung in a nursery, reading nook, or hallway, the print settles the space with calm and nostalgia without shouting for attention. Each piece is produced and assembled in the USA from globally sourced materials, with careful archival inks that keep tones smooth and shadows deep while preserving the subtle paper texture.
